Inspired by Vivaldi's "Winter" from The Four Seasons, Nenarokov offers a unique experience where audiences can not only imagine the melodies that inspired her work but also listen to them as they immerse themselves in the art. Elizabeth Nenarokov seeks to explore her interpretation of the synesthesia phenomenon by revealing the hidden volumes and shapes of music and sound. By transforming melodies into intricate ceramic forms, she invites viewers to engage with the very essence of sound, transcending the traditional boundaries of visual art.

In the end, nature reclaims what has always been hers, breaking through every boundary and blooming long after we are gone, despite every attempt to diminish or destroy it.

"HOME" is a custom installation created for the reception area of the Holiday Inn Soloniki in Moscow, symbolizing the hotel’s role as a temporary home for guests from all over the world. With 525 rooms, the hotel welcomes people of different nationalities, backgrounds, and ages, and for a short time—whether a day, a week, or longer—it becomes a place of comfort and safety. The installation features small squares, each representing an individual guest, merging toward the company logo, symbolizing the hotel’s vision of making everyone feel at home, away from home. Enhanced by LED lighting, the piece embodies warmth, unity, and the essence of a shared, welcoming space.

CONCEPT

Synesthesia is a fascinating phenomenon where stimulation of one sensory pathway leads to involuntary experiences in another, such as seeing colors when hearing music. Inspired by this captivating intersection of senses, Elizabeth Nenarokov's ceramic wall art installations delve into the realms of sound and shape, a territory explored by notable artists like Kandinsky and Van Gogh. In her collection Fusion, Nenarokov transcends traditional 2D representation by embodying music and sound through intricate 3D shapes, inviting viewers to experience the volumes and forms inherent in melodies.

As visitors engage with the installation, they are not only encouraged to visualize the sounds that inspired each piece but also to immerse themselves in the actual melodies while surrounded by her art. This multi-sensory experience merges colors, textures, and sounds, allowing audiences to explore the profound connections between their senses. Fusion invites viewers to discover the symphonic relationship between visual art and music, engaging with their human capacity for sensation and perception in a transformative way.
